Hall Rental Information
The Kinsmen Community Center is located at 71 First Lake Drive, just off of Metropolitan Drive in Lower Sackville.
Our large, fully licensed, deck overlooks picturesque First Lake and Murdock MacKay (Kinsmen) Park.
About the Hall
Seating Capacity is 168 comfortably. We offer space for business meetings, weddings, family reunions, retirement parties, banquets and other group gatherings.
We have a fully licensed on-site Bar. Catering services are available upon request. We are completely wheelchair accessible with plenty of parking. Round tables are available for parties of 85 or less.
The Kinsmen Community Centre is air conditioned to make your event the best it can be no matter what season.
We also feature Wi Fi (wireless internet connectivity) as well as an optional DLP projection system complete with a 150 inch screen for dazzling video presentations for business meetings or wedding receptions.
The Kinsmen Community Centre has LCD accent lighting available to provide atmosphere in many different colour shades as well as white to add that special touch to your event.
The Kinsmen community Centre also has an integrated professional quality PA system available.
Dance Floor Accents
We also have laser light show equipment to add a party atmosphere to the dance floor during your event.
The Kinsmen Community Centre has first aid supplies and onsite defibrillator for emergency situations.
The gazebo is situated on the edge of Murdock MacKay (KInsmen) Park and is perfect for wedding pictures (subject to availability). For Gazebo rental information contact HRM Parks and Recreation Dept.
Hall Rental Rates
Sunday to Thursday $150 for the day.
Friday $250 for the day.
Saturday $275 for the day.
